She enjoeyed working hard in order to do well in everything she did, be it in school or in persuing her artistic dreams. Now that she's in the spot light, that didn't change. I would say she's blunt. She doesn't say overly cruel things, but she doesn't sugarcoat things either. She also gives REALLY good advice from what I'm seeing in this video alone (I've never watched the series). Also she uses her experience amazingly to give that advice. I know from Unpretty Rapstar, she was creative with how to make herself memorable to their audiences, so she uses that exact same techniques for these trainees. I've had plenty of teachers like her and they're always SO good to have for your development.

I just really love watching Soyeon work! One of my favourite things is how she's able to take advantage of every contestant's potential, even if they're lacking in certain aspects. A tip to the showrunners. When you make a survival show, let the judges choose for the first round. They'll prioritize talent, visual, potential, and charisma (whereas the audience only values the visual). Then, from that point on, always do it 50/50 audience/judges. The audience is incredibly biased. You need people with actual proper judgements to have a say in who joins the group.
