Back in the day. 80's and 90's, Dj's had to mix with their hands and also do announcements during the night. These INTROs, MIDDLE BREAKs, and OUTROs allowed us to do so. It was genius at the time, but now everyone hits the loop button and says what they need and the software finds songs with the same key and bpm you need. And also man they gave you enough time to get funky other shit mixed in and then look at those chicks on the floor and even sniff a line of choice while they danced. LOL
