C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge Alert Sun, Mission 3 ANGRY CITIZENS the fan campaign released back in the previous decade. C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge Alert Sun contains 7 EXTREMELY HARD AND UNFAIR missions for the Allied side. All you have to do is to download and unpack the campaign in the main directory with Yuri's Revenge 1.001.
Yuri's Revenge is an expansion pack for C&C Red Alert 2, released in the October 2001. It contains 7 missions for both Soviets and the Allies, it's focused around time travelling back in time to stop Yuri's secret plan of dominating the world by activating secretly constructed Psychic Dominator devices during the war. Missions are way harder than these in vanilla Red Alert 2 campaign but are still much easier than those in C&C Red Alert 2 Mental Omega 3.3 or C&C Red Alert 2 Mental Omega 2.0. There was also planned a campaign for Yuri but it was scrapped due to the time constraints.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s, Red Alert 2 supposedly picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game, but this has been subject to debate. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
Alert Sun is a fan campaign dating back to the 2002, 2003 or 2004 when ArgCmdr was an admin of YR Argentina. Expect absolutely no fairness towards you, tons of annoying ambushes, a lot of mazes and puzzles to solve and lack of units at your side. Ok... this mission by far for me and other people around, is perhaps the most difficult and unfair mission for Red Alert 2 ever designed. It's so full of nasty surprises for the player, so many unfavourable moments, so many weird objectives and lots of other things it's hard to remember. I decided to cut way too long intro and first objective that is rather dull and boring, but we start from one of the hardest parts in this mission for sure. For a "slow" startup, you have to defend the 7 entrances to the complex, using only simple barricades and 2 GIs at your disposal. These GIs and the custom rules for this map, make them very vulnerable to tank weapons, 2 hits and they are gone, it's a real thing here. The second real objective, oh boy... tried to solve it for half an hour how to prevent these civilians from entering inside and who is the leader, please no more objectives like this. Once the ambassador is secured, we are chronoshifted back in time to the city full of Yuri's forces with almost no units at our side, (╯°□°)╯. You have to collect them in various parts of the city, but beware, there are nasty surprises for you, nicely hidden ( ͜。 ͡ʖ ͜。).
