Yeah if you capture GDI's Chinook in their base you can fly across the river to build a small base to take out orange which has the power to the obelisks, but it's optional 😊

Yep and it was kinda funny how that one eng almost made it through the tib field to capture the GDI WF but nope the poor guy just didn't make it.. ;P

I'll admit that on a previous attempt I accidentally destroyed that Chinook in the GDI base which made me wonder if I messed up since I had no way to get to the other side of the map and shut down oj's power , unfortunately I was too hasty to restart the mission instead of thinking a little bit and take out these Obelisks the way I did here (or at least by spamming tons of inf to deal with them) but yeah overall unlike me you actually played the mission the way it was designed to be played without any shortcuts ;P

@@CommandAndConquerGameplays yeah destroying the chinook does indeed lock you out of fighting Oj's base but that's why I made it optional, kind of like a punishment, if you destroy the chinook then you have no choice but to run the gauntlet so to speak :)

Friendly Oblelisks enter the fight at 18:44. The battle is over a mere 88 seconds later. I think there's a lesson there for all of us. Mmmmm 😎

GDI stole the Obelisk tech from us in this one yet ironically had their Obelisks destroyed by our own ones so yeah the lesson for GDI is *"Stick with your own tech and never try to steal Nod's"* ;P
