My fav mod for TS, mostly because of all the new units, cool explosions and special effects. Balance isn't good at all, but hell, that's actually quite realistic. XD Too bad there were no updates for a while...

I think that rains are something very rare during the times of the Second Tiberium War(hence the reason for ground looking exactly the way it does on temperate maps). In fact, I can remember only one FMV featuring rain, that it is with the mammoth mk ii in the nod base. So, not sure if I can consider this a canon issue. Snowing, on the other hand is something different.

Love this mod so much!! But I have one question. Why don't you guys get the task bar from the red alert 2 series? Is it just impractical to get working in tiberian sun? I know there's a mod that brings tiberian sun into yuris revenge.

Technically, it's copying Tiberian Sun to Red Alert 2 engine. You cant move the sidebar to TS

It probably involves rewriting the game engine, which modders can't do. I would also like to see garrisoned buildings and dropships being able to take on vehicles, for example. But I suspect it can't be added to TS without modifying its engine

I wish there was TS with functionality like in first Starcraft. Upgrades (armor, firepower, special abilities) for units, if you click on a unit the sidebar would show its health and what upgrades it has. Ability to produce units in each barracks/war factory/helipad separately. I wish there was a third fully feaured faction called "The Forgotten" or Mutants.

@@zoom3000 Do you know why the mod wasn't copied over to Yuri's in the first place? did the mod authors want a more traditional tiberian sun experience, or would things like the weed sink hole things have to be cut. I'm very curious.

It's called resolution. He just uses high resolution, probably 1920*1200

@@Sciffyan Ian, high resolution is not native to this game so its not there, for example, in general zero hour i had to install a unoffical patch

@@Billpimentel82 it is native. If you edit sun.ini text file and put there Full HD resolution for example, the game will take it with no issues

Just download the free version available from cncnet.org. The community there is still alive, people do multiplayer too.

Do these ion storm bolts do harm? I've seen all your Warzone mod videos, and it seems those bolts never really hit anything.

Separate things. Lightning couse by "weather" as in this map, they dont do nothing. But, you can turn on an option for "Ion Storm" and then occasionally when there is a storm, it can hurt you.

@@dzalva1434 Those were in the original game too. Another mod called "Twisted Insurrection" has them too, WAY more deadlier in there. It's basically a allied weather control device, but nobody can control it and it can harm everything badly.

@@dzalva1434 Oh yes. The monster that has taken out many of my GDI assaults. It's the reason I now stick to using goliath tanks and scatterpacks, and rarely use the wasp APC and stuff.

Use mobile AA or jumpjetters. The orca fighters may have AA capabilities as well (not entirely sure, I didn't use them often)

I wonder if you can capture the old gdi buildings and built some mammoth tanks mk1 or capture an old nod temple and use its nuke that would be epic.

Mammoth Tanks can be build on maps, in which mutant weapons factories are present. These are pretty powerful in their armaments (AoE Damage, AA rockets), but can be outranged by vehicles with long range attacks (Stealth Tanks f.e.). Also these don't have the most durable type of armor and tend to blow allied units up, if enemy units get to close to allied units.

Hey, before you start skirmish you can set the weather and day time. There is no somthing that call "atmosphere" just like that. I edit the atmosphere by myself - while you in game, you can click on "home" button to edit your game visual with reshae (a built in program that allow you to change the visual)

One thing about this mod i dislike, and its just being pedantic at best, the change to the juggernauts sound when it fires. That meaty, deep ***BOOMBOOMBOOM*** sound was amazing and satisfying to hear, especially enmass, really felt like they were firing battleship cannons. This new sound is... Not as good or satisfying. More like, there shooting potato cannons. Just my opinion and only negative comment about the mod.
