One thing I do not like Korean cuisine is scooping soup from the pot with their spoon…there is a certain bacteria transformed through spoons. I see them scoop and put it into their mouth, lick their spoon and scoop soup from the pot again. Basically licking their spoon and scooping the soup from the pot for all of them…I believe SK is one of the countries with high stomach cancer cases…

They can use a “common spoon” to scoop the soup out and then use their own spoon to eat. But sometimes people don’t care especially if they are close friends/couples/relatives. It really depends on your circle. Some care, some really don’t.
