Same here, especially when I was guilty of doing exactly what he stated. 5 dozers right off the bat with three choppers for each base to gather and that row of defences and nice and neatly placed buildings. If you're going to do it wrong, may as well go all the way!!! LMAO

Some nice pointers especially about the simcity-ing (I still do that). But you didn't mention the big advantage of the swg. Because noob players gravitate to her because they think that swg has the best turrets. That is not true. (and if any turrtle is reading this go for the laser general ! Build the maginot line !) I think that swg has the best air unit in game the alpha aurora and playing swg and not using the alphas is...like why not play USA vanilla ? So next time maybe mention why one would want to or not want to play a certain general.

with comps u can save ur power from aurora attacks behind the cc and superweapon cause they always attack reactors first.

It's possible to place buildings like in simcity ;P but not near other buildings (cause superweapons). Base can be beautifull like builded bases in missions.

It's been a long time since I played this regularly. Thanks. :) I would love to see more of these with perhaps different factions and maybe RA2. Anything that improves people's game play is welcome.

Just one tip. You should use the keyboard overlay so we can see how you use the hotkeys. That might be something helpful for the new players. I don't mean pointing the webcam on you keyboard but you can use the obs to have you built in windows keyboard on screen so we can see what key you hit all the time.

Having just one or two pathfinders in Humvees is very helpful so you don't waste firepower on enemy infantry and take unnecessary hits from tank hunters.

I have a question: what if I'm china vanilla and I face nuke migs... What can I do against it if my enemy spams nuke migs. And what if I'm GLA vanilla and my opponent does the same? I have faced this many times and I really struggle against it, can you help me? And another question: why didn't you use Hotkeys? ....... no I'm just kidding ;)

+Netherlands Ball As China Vanilla vs Nuke Migs I advice to use the "x" key very often on your units to avoid massive casualties. Don´t build any Overlords unless you have enough money to afford a nuke silo + the tank upgrades. Build lots of Gatlings, Listening outposts maybe and a good amount of tank hunters. That should help against the nuke general and his nuke migs. The tank hunters are perfect against the battlemasters and overlords. Against the annoying Nuke Cannons I advice to use migs, maybe a helix with 5 tank hunters inside, or just your brute force. GLA Vanilla vs Nuke migs is way easier than playing as China Vanilla. Get cash Bounty, build 6 Arms dealers or more and just spam scorpions with rockets and quads will all Market Upgrades + use the "x" key very often

firebases by themselfes are weak as they have a small weakness if the enemy gets to close to it it cant shoot however they would need to be right next to it the upside to firebases is they take up 0 power

Better is play as GLA and attack them before their attack. Superweapon for me is general to do create this noobie bunker with patriots, raptors patrol and attack with particle cannon or aurora bomber

im really not good at command and conquer and cause of that i mostly turtle with my base meaning i only have a line of defenses built around my base and i always make the mistake of building most of my buildings close together and i hardly ever build infantry apart from to capture key buildings

Space between all buildings *except* drop zones. Dropzones give more money if packed in close together in a grid due to bug/feature. What do you think about building drones for USA vehicles? I see you never do it so presume you see it as a waste of time?

He's playing the Zero Hour expansion. The original one Just had just the three vanilla factions, no generals (which is really ironic now that I think about it) and quite a bit missing. I tried it and didn't like the original game nearly as much.

Playing ROTR and Contra has changed my playstyle quite a bit. That and consuming shit loads of videos about this game from players that are a lot better than me. Including yourself, cncHD.

Yeah Contra is a beast, I can imagine how it played your playstyle. Contra does not allow any mistakes I have the feeling. Watching videos is always a good thing. I remember watching a lot of Videos about Starcraft 2 to help me improve my gameplay. Worked pretty good

Nice video, but I think it would be great if you talked about unit compositions in detail: why is this unit good/bad, cost efficient, what are the advantages/strengths, etc... I mean you didn't give too much of an explanation of why you spammed so many humvees. Obviously, superweapon general has no real tanks, I know. But why didn't you go airfield? Superweapon air units are bad? I think you should explain your unit choices a bit more in depth. Otherwise nice video!

Thanks for your feedback! You are right, these are things which need to be more discussed in a seperate video. I wanted to keep this video as short as possible and left out most advanced stuff like Hotkeys and Unit mixing. I will note your feedback down to work on a seperate more advanced video which goes into details about the special things of a superweapon general

Tried this out, didn't work. I have the exact same settings you have, I even set my volume levels the same, v1.04 of the game. I built only 2 dozers, started off by building the powerplant right next to my dozer, then built the two supply depots for gathering resources, followed by the two fire bases on the flanks for defence. Built the extra choppers for gathering (total of 2 per supply), then built the building for making tanks and the barracks and I made about two humvees and a handful of rocket soldiers and he rushed into my base with several tanks, infantry and jets and proceeded to wipe everything out. There just isn't enough time. The game cheats as well which turns me off playing it. I scanned and he was building the tank building and barracks right at the start, you simply cannot do this normally and have the cash to do anything else, so I won't bother with "HARD" aka:cheat mode again. It's pure bullshit.
