Sorry m8 That is on easy mode . You get attacked by tanks, grenadiers .troopers from ahead straight away .and gunships attack the nodes on hard

Actually it is on hard mode. If you look at the medal awarded at the end it's gold, not silver or bronze, which are awarded for normal and easy respectively. You can avoid an assault from GDI if you don't aggravate them and kill their patrols in the right way
