I think poppa troll was more upset about you killing his kids than hungry. You kinda slaughtered them on your way through. Poor baby trolls, they only wanted to play, they just didn't know they could hurt you, they're babies after all, and then their older brother comes to try and save the remainder of his siblings but alas, you slay him as well. Poppa troll is following the trail of his dead children's bodies when he finds you and the rest of you "knights" next to his dead first born son. He lost his wife awhile back, he just couldn't handle losing his kids. And so he goes mad and try's to avenge his children's deaths....but sadly he to falls.
