I love his duality. He can act cute and scary so well. The complex multi dimensional character of WKX is hard to portray well but Gong Jun did him justice. He embodied WKX so beautifully that I cannot see anybody else playing the character but him.

Truly amazing acting he did if you see at 4.53 how his facial expression changes in a split second. I have seen in one of the interviews ZZ said, Gong Jun was very quiet when they started shooting but by the time they neared the end truly changed into WKX. Both of them are truly good actors.

I love that as the series progresses through ZZ still teases Wen KeXing relentless for his recurring bouts of youthfulness/childish behavior he actually actively plays ALONG with him more and more without truly chastising him for it. It's like once he actually recognizes how much of WKX's childhood was likely ravaged by his trauma he makes room in their dynamic to be not just the protector but also the the playmate WKX actively needs to look away from his constant anxiety and trauma. The resultant flirting is both hilarious to watch and also essentially chicken soup for the soul.
