I used to sing this for a cover band and I had to quit singing it because I could almost never get through it without actually tearing up. Just a perfect song. RIP Greg.

Absolutely! I do this and Still... together with Lucky Man (the way he did them on the Don Kirschner's Rock Concert at California Speedway) during one of our set breaks and afterwards I feel near completely emotionally spent. Greg was really a tailor with words and the same with Keith with the piano. And they both left us far too early...

Although it´s sad that Greg and Keith already left us, in the end they could look back at a great career, wonderful and groundbreaking songs and really exciting moments like this one where they played the Montreal Olympic Stadium together with a big orchestra. I guess those moments were the ones that lived in their memories until they passed. And they deserved all of them.

At 58 I went back to school to get an Associates in Music Composition. Took a couple of semesters of individual voice training where we'd have to perform in front of the students in the Music department a couple of times a semester. I told one of my fellow students he sounded like a young Greg Lake. He had no idea who I was talking about. I felt very sorry for him.
