I wasn't expecting too much from this little drone as the last C-fly drone i had to review had some problems but this is actually a decent little drone ,it does have its quirks as it isn't the most stable drone but it does work decent so far.

Thanks for the cable replacement tip. I nearly lost this drone on it's first flight after it flew off on it's own and tried to land in a lake. Swapped the cable out and it is like flying a different drone altogether.

Yesterday I did a manual figure 8 orbit at 100m high and around 400m distance it controlled perfect and I was in a small wood and it was on slower default speeds. I had full controll over it and it was very smooth.

Hi. I got everything connected app phone drone and remote. But i keep getting a activate drone message on phone screen when o try to fly indoors with zero satellite connections and cant take off. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

This is another reason not to buy this crap I like your efforts but should you have to buy extra props with a new drone a full set should always be sent out with a new drone fimi @others send a full set with a bind and fly why should you also have to buy a new cable with a new drone it's unacceptable myself I never touch anything to do with this company and I always advise people not to aswell 10/10 for playing with this crap kev 😅😅

i noticed those cheap dji clone drones all have a camera clear cover tht can cause blurring or reflections from sunlight i usually remove it lol it helps tons

how did you realise the cable was faulty and not shielded? so i can be sure if mind needs to be replaced too.

you can tell its not shielded by how thin of a cable it is,shielded cables are much thicker and i noticed as i had this issue in the past with other drone companies giviving out similar cables which we figured were causing these issues from alot of testing.

Still half the dji price i would buy it after my holystone 720g which was toilet bowling,not turning off on landing and skipping in the ground, suddenly going left and backwards, and and disconnecting...i crashed after i talked to customer service they wouldn't repair it because i didn't pay the overpriced tag on Amazon i got it on ebay auction brand new and sealed started to have issues about 3 flights in, i noticed when you turned on axis left joystick it would drift the opposite direction, sorry if i comment on a different drone review but im just warning people in many reviews, this looks pretty good to me with the 3 axis gimbal 2.7k the cable connection is better than just wifi on the phone maybe thats why the holystone goes wild ...

I never calibrate this C-Fly Faith Mini. Doesn't seem to help. Rather the opposite. Just wait till the light goes solid green. And you can't start calibration with the controller as far I know! Must use the phone. That's stupid. I bought it because I thought the follow-me worked correctly. It sucks. I'm going to try with the IZI SkyEye app. So then maybe fly it manually while riding? Nope goes all over the place. Basically it is to fast. Very hard to fly smooth at the right pace. When you fly it sideways or yaw the only 25fps video gets jerky. The turning radius is larger than that of Saturn. But it's not that bad a drone overall. It can handle a fair amount of wind compared to other mini drones for this price ($165). FPV range is pretty good. And the app does have a dynamic homepoint update option, which is really important if you're on the move. Something drone reviewers hardly ever mention. BTW. Don't you think it is time for a nice new table cover? Get one of those giant mouse mats. At least your tattoo is clever. Her could be anyone. Well except him.

It is worth the money so far,lets just hope problems do not sdtart after a few flights like the arno i had and i recommend calibrating it every flight or it tries to fly wonky plus everywhere you attempt to fly it there is always a ton of magnetic interfearance which makes it harder to calibrate and replace the OTG cable straight away as mine was disconnecting with the factory cfly cables.

@@capeRCouple I had it go wonky tonky plonky two times after I did the calibration. In principle it should calibrate by itself. I'm not sure if it refuses to fly if it does need calibration? That you can't do it with the controller is really annoying. I often fly without the phone because it's quicker. I must say, I'm more happy with my new LYZRC L200. Thing is under $100! Has everything. Maybe not have the range. But I don't need that. The video actually looks better than the C-Fly Mini.

i doubt the l200 has more stable video from a 2 axis gimbal,i have never had a 2 axis gimbal that was steady enough.You shouldn't have to calibrate the cfly mini but unfortunately you do or it does fly weird and you will risk toiletbowling or worse a flyaway@@driewiel

@@capeRCouple 2-axis + EIS. Like the F11 4k Pro for example. Or my Fimi A3. Just go watch the review by Pavão Drones. Even if it isn't quite as stable, it looks better than the 25fps of the C-Fly Faith Mini (1). Nicer colors too. Not that I cry about the video not being DJI Mavic quality,. I mean it's under 100 USD. GPS, brushless, gimbal + EIS, SD-card slot, rechargeable controller with screen, what more do you want? It even has one of those funny obstacle avoidance things for what it's worth. And oh it's under 250 grams. You as a drone guy should do a review. There has been nothing like it under $100 under 250 grams. Why would I spend 500 600 700? To film a parking lot, a tree from above? I look at that. Super quality 4k 60 fps IMAX video of a tree! Well that certainly will get you a million views.

In Germany the price for this drone is currently €153.67. And that's a price range in which the purchase is worthwhile for someone who just wants to get a taste of the hobby and doesn't have too high expectations of the technology. -In the long term, you probably won't enjoy this part. Maybe that's a good thing, because the C1 class drones, which can be flown without a license and close to people, ensure that there are simply too many pilots on the road who don't adhere to the law.... In any case, I now view the market for inexpensive 249g drones critically

I agree with you, Kevin! - The point is: if anything, it has to apply to everyone! - The fact is that the small drones (just think of the Mini-4 Pro) can do the same thing as the licensed C-certified drones can - but they are not controlled, whereas the drones from C1 onwards are monitored via a transponder signal and the operators can be identified!

look in the manual,it should tell how to bind the drone and transmitter,i did not have to go through that with this drone as it was already bound when i recieved it

I'm sorry but i have thus and the faith 2, they are both nothing more than paperweights. If going cheaper, stick with the potensic Atom or Atom SE. Don't waste money on this drone, it truly is terrible. I don't mean terrible against dji mini 3 or 4 pro, but terrible in general.

well it is like any budget drone company,you can get a bad one from the lot but i do know what you mean as i had their arno in the past and it had problems,it is likely that you will get one good one for every 10 shipped out with cfly

exactly my thought too,only issues i had with mine were the OTG cable had to be replaced with ab good shielded cable and the drone moves around a lot as it is not as stable as any other.I think it was well worth the price paid but now lets just hope it lasts 20 flights without any new problems arising.@@driewiel
