Wang Manyu took two timeouts during the match with Qin Yuxuan, and disrupted the match for at least ten minutes. The umpires had to coax her to continue. 18yo young player who is Sun Yingsha’s sparring partner didn’t even retort. Commentator said it was an excellent return from Qin and has no issues. The same said umpire later didn’t even pay attention and didn’t hear the sound of Sun Yingsha’s return which clipped the table during her match with Qian Tianyi. There is a reason why Sun Yingsha is the undisputed favourite of global table tennis at the moment. She plays CLEAN and never accepts a point which is not hers, and only brings up a point which she knows is hers. During the Macao World Cup 2024, there was a similar ball against Wang which the Chinese national team all acknowledged clipped the table but she denied. She lost the match and her best chance at the World Cup in the end. Play CLEAN, there are cameras, fans have amazing cameras and everything is captured. There’s no use winning if u cheat and u will not realise any commercial value from your wins, unlike Sun Yingsha.

I don't understand how anyone can turn things around like you. First of all, no one here mentions Sun Yingsha. Secondly, the disputed ball of the Macao World Cup is that Sun Yingsha refused to accept the referee's decision. Both sides had returned to the table to prepare for the next serve, and with the point in effect, she suddenly rose to disagree with the decision. Demanded that she play it back. Even in the case of the referee to uphold the original decision to request replay! This is not allowed! She was reluctant to return to the table for a prolonged period, which could easily be considered delaying the match. What’s worse, her actions directly influenced the atmosphere in the arena, as her fans began reacting emotionally, even disrupting the flow of the game. This behavior not only disrupted the rhythm of the match but also challenged the authority of the referee. And Wang Manyu did not do any disobedience to the decision, even if Sun Yingsha interrupted the match for more than four minutes. Since you mentioned Sun Yingsha, please go to the Table Tennis Super Finals and watch the match between Sun and another athlete. She did almost the same thing to the controversial ball as in the Macao World Cup, and the other player was a much less famous player than her. The athlete could only smile helplessly, feeling it was beyond her control.

@@JingLei-m4xwang manyu dindt argue much to the decision because it was in her favor but would she stay still if the referee give sys the score no right she woulld act the same way as she did in this game.. it was pretty obvious who should get a point but still its funny

@ Just to clarify, this video has nothing to do with Sun Yingsha, and I’d prefer not to bring other players into the discussion. I only mentioned her because a previous comment used her to criticize Wang Manyu, which I feel wasn’t necessary. My point is simply to focus on the facts of the Macao World Cup match and Wang Manyu’s behavior. She respected the referee’s decision, which is what any professional athlete should do. I respect everyone’s right to have their own perspective, but I’m not interested in debating hypotheticals or going in circles about unrelated players. Let’s agree to disagree and leave it at that. This will be my final comment here.

I see there're a lot of people who blame on wangmanyu player. She let her one point deducted and continued to play cleanly and win in final. So, why are u guys blaming her??for what??for winning neatly 😅

Did she let her opponent get the third point?

Wmy not only made an incorrect judgment on that ball but also broke the rules by stopping the game on her own. Qin deserved the point, but Wmy argued and pressured the referee into making a decision for a replay, which favored her. This is not hard to understand at all!

@@BOBOWW-f3p I didn’t watch the tournament, just watched this video. I am sure it was not double bounce. WMY should lose that point
i guess internally its ok to squabble over a point, I've never seen any footage of a Chinese player questioning a call so intensely on either side. These Super League games are serious business, packed arenas and the top players in the world. Interesting.
The players really believed their own judgement.Final decision should come from the empire. To me ,no player is try to cheat.p lease do not label with haste the players in such a bad light emotionally.
