I'm a 22 yr old college senior and this is probably the best lesson I've had so far on capacitors, capacitors make so much more sense now; does that mean I have the mental capacity of an elementary school student?

I think a lot of people with electronic engineering degrees don't fully understand capacitors. So don't feel too bad.

+Ghost Naughty no, like a battery the charge would slowly dissipate over time. ever not use a car for a long time and have to recharge or jump start it.
@artblack018 жыл бұрын
+Ghost Naughty yes you can get shocked and all electronics use capacitors.
@artblack018 жыл бұрын
Ghost Naughty lithium metal polymer are rechargeable batteries, where ions move between the anode and the cathode, using an intercalated lithium compound or metallic lithium as the electrode material. Capacitors are both inside and outside integrated circuits on the ciruit (mother) board of a computer or other electronic device.... some are large some are tiny.... A capacitor is a two-terminal, electrical component. Along with resistors and inductors, they are one of the most fundamental passive components we use. You would have to look very hard to find a circuit which didn't have a capacitor in it. electronics.howstuffworks.com/capacitor.htm
