This has been a huge springboard point for my daughter and I. We are homeschooling her, and she is fascinated by all the sciences (of course, my weakest point in school!). Thankfully, I can keep up with her at the age of four (ahem, and three quarters!). PLEASE keep up this series, if possible adding some supplemental lessons for parents. We are using whatever spare time I have to lesson plan and make this a good encounter with a great subject, but I could really use some help! Great work!

I really miss these videos my kid is 14 now. He loved these when he was 10 and I think this is what pushed him towards electronics. I can say while some stuff you guy offer is a little pricey you guys sure make up for it with all the tutorials and content and extras. You should really think about bringing these back!!

My understanding is if you just add more pennies and nails (and connect them in series) into the one lemon you can get more power, don't need to use more lemons. Is that correct?

This is the cutest thing ever! As far as lemon batteries, I'm saving all my lemons to make them combustible. :3

I'm trying to find a video that teaches the basics of electric current for kids that have never had science class before. These are kids from underprivileged schools and quite a few are ESL. Believe it or not, some American elementary schools don't start teaching science until 4th grade. Your video is so close to what I need! But it assumes that kids already know about electrons and understand words like terminals when they probably have never heard those words in their entire lives. :( It'd be great if we could get episodes that have the same concepts but are slightly simpler in presentation.

What do you need to make more of these? C IS FOR CAPACITOR would be awesome! That's a concept that people always have issues comprehending. You can explain how AC can go though but nod DC. You can cover reactance.

According to your explanation, electrons travel from the zinc nail to the copper penny through the cables. When the lemons are in series, if electrons travel from the nail in the lemon on the left to the copper penny on the right, how do the other lemons interact? Presumably the electrons cannot travel through the electrolight in the other lemons.

So, why do you need the lemon? Couldn't you just have a penny on 1 side and the nail on the other?
