One of the few reasons this win was so meaningful for we UM fan/alums is that C.J. Stroud is one of, perhaps the best, college football quarterback and offense leader ever. He played, per usual, one hell of a game. I attribute OSU’s loss to insufficient size up front in the OSU “d” and corners that were overmatched 1:1. The way to beat OSU is to cover their highly capable receivers as well as you can and, above all, to keep the OSU offense off the field. Stroud should take responsibility, but only because that’s what great leaders like him do. He’s got a bright future. That kid has the heart and skills of a champion and I suspect we’ll be seeing more of his exploits in the future. He deserves a lot of respect.

He did everything except run the ball when he had had the chance. 6 yards here, 5 yards there changes the complexion of the game. MCCarthy ran it and it added another dimension to Wolverine offense. Bryce Young doing the same thing today against Auburn, making plays with his legs.

Best comment, I said the same thing. Stroud is great at throwing the ball but could of been even better at running 🏃🏾‍♂️ the ball if he took the opportunity he was given 🙄 so he did not leave it all out on the field. I was screaming run 🏃🏾‍♂️ on at least 10 plays , wide open lanes....he fell in love with the deep ball unfortunately.............
