C.K. builds a Twin Drive kit from Music Thing Modular, eurorack

A twin Drive/Distortion module. Really easy build, would be a great first kit.
Light bulb housings were a little bit of a pain to mount, but thats a nit-pick.
Sounds good, works very well with a square or saw wave, less distortion with a sine or triangle. And the lights flash!
A fine kit.

You can, and they talk about that (ala minmoog) but they advertise it as a "twin", two independent drives, for, say a stereo signal. So I ran it as twi different units as intended as well as doubling up..

I typed this in the other day, seems to have vanished. The clamp is a Wolfcraft product, I got ia set at Home Depo. Search for "Wolfcraft clamp" there and it should turn up.
