In this video, we show you how to calculate visual sensor performance and how the differences between search and identify make a major difference in how you can utilize them.

These videos are one of the only reasons CMO is accessible to me so please keep doing them

I love your videos. They've really really helped me understand CMO. Thank you. I am still really not understanding "... Zoom Detection/Classification" numbers. What DOES it mean? Do we multiply one of the other numbers BY that to get a "zoom range?" Is that already included in the max range? And some sensors have a higher number first, such as the AN/AAR-47(V) MAWS. In the "Max Range" column shown on units it says "20/5 nm" so ... huh? Is that a DB error and those are reversed? If not .. Huh? What does that mean? How does that work? o.O That's not the only one of those I've seen either. Also, it just doesn't make sense. The Mk 1 Eyeball can see 15nm .. okay .. but then 50nm if you tell someone where to look? But that's over the horizon, no? And some systems like MX-15D Hi-Mag (FLIR) and (Daylight TV)) have a range of 20/30nm .. so they can "see" an extra 10nm somehow if you know where to look? But THEN that particular sensor has IR/Visual Zoom Detection/Classification of 20 ... So what does THAT mean in relation to everything? Do I have to multiply something somewhere? Is that just some arbitrary number? Are there release notes somewhere that fully explainify all of this? And why do binoculars have a smaller 2nd number than the Mk 1 Eyeball? i.e. - 10/18nm vs 15/50nm .. and THEN there's "Generic Eyeball with Binoculars" which is 10/30nm, and ONLY on unit #3241 - Building (Small with Observer) .. Like ... Binoculars are always paired with eyeballs. Why does that exist separately?

How would you ever know what Visual Zoom Detection/Classification: 8 means if it's not in the manual? Where can I find all this info?

Yo! Ive been trying to make my own mission in CMO and I try to make a trigger which is invisible to the player. In the mission "Task Force Normandy" such an area exists but I just cant figure out how they did it. Invisible reference points, how?!
