I taught U.S. History to 9th graders for 8 years. I absolutely became a better thinker, communicator, and historian as a result of having to impart complex notions to young minds. I will always be a better person for having shared with others about something that I am passionate about.

29:28 You got it right: it's not devoid of emotions, it's closed-off from emotions that "let" her not cry for the last 4 years of her marriage to Rupert. In order to survive, she needed to not let him get to her, so she shut down. Now, she knows that it was a coping strategy and that she needs to reconnect to herself, and that it's hard and scary, but she's trying!

It’s so scary that shutting off her emotions in order not to get hurt by him resulted in her also shutting down her positive emotions as well😭😭

STOP EVERYTHING! SEASON 3 IS HERE!! Ted's press interview was what I ended up doing in middle/high school. I got so good at acting dumb/oblivious to insults + rumors and to avoid fights, I'd make fun of myself.. I couldn't even tell if I was acting at some point in later years. By senior year, we had a 4 day retreat, and we were given room to air our grievances and love and whatever else as 1 class. Numerous people stood up saying "DJ, I'm sorry that...." and I stood up eventually saying "wait... when the hell did any of that happen??" They all laughed and said "that's so DJ..." That was 2005 (yikes) and I'm still on great terms with 98% of my class. Your art teaching part is so accurate. I teach English as well as poetry/music - whew boy, thinking of how to break certain aspects to age-appropriate (or language appropriate for English learners) sometimes gives you great pause when you're in a zone. That simple "why" comes up and you have to refocus. Having the kids in this show to ask the right questions makes every adult in the show and in the audience rethinking their thought. We do forget how to be a kid/see things from their eyes, and just overcomplicate.... everything! Rebecca makes me jealous, her outfits are like 99.999999% on point, all the time. Only slightly got outshone by Sam's suit when they first had their dinner haha

Frank, you're teaching? Fantastic! Your work is so good, I'm glad you're "paying it forward". And yeah, 'teaching' anything can be a revelation sometimes. My career was TV. My bosses considered me talented, so they had me train new hires. At first, it was all people my own age with a background in the industry that needed to learn computers. But as time went on, my trainees were eventually young folks who knew computers - but didn't know television. Really made me dig deep and recover/express knowledge I'd actually almost forgotten. Oh, and my girlfriend says I should tell you.."taking a break" is supposed to be temporary, "breaking up" is permanent. When I told her I couldn't tell the difference either, she said, "I just don't understand men!! WTF is wrong with all of you?!?" Ah, the mysteries of relationships.. 🤣

Think about some of the iconic scenes and episodes from the past 2 seasons, well for me Season 3 holds 2 of my favorite episodes of the entire series. Masterfully written and acted.

Episodes 6-12 of this season are, in my (possibly) biased opinion, the best stretch of 7 TV episodes ever, in any show. Also episode 3 is one of the funniest I’ve ever watched

Back like we never left! I do appreciate a sunny day in England. Everyone is outside and in a good mood. Great sense of community all around. Jaime is kind of inspired by several real players, including Jack Grealish. You can see that in the air-headed comments at times and bad haircuts. Idk about your experiences in life but as much as I hate the corporate world, I’d rather work in a corporate setting than work with my friends. Friends and work can get very messy. I’m fine with becoming friends with your coworkers, but I wouldn’t want to get into business with my preexisting friends. I think I used to be a lot more confrontational in life. But it’s so stressful being unkind because you are always thinking about if other people are upset with you, especially when they have a reason to be. It feels so much more free being kind because you know that if people do happen to be upset about something, it’s not because of you. As a professor myself, I 100% agree with you that teaching helps you become better. The more I teach about history, the more I understand how our world works today, even if it’s the same thing I am teaching every semester. When I was a student, the best way to study was by trying to teach concepts to my roommate. In order to teach something, your brain makes more connections on that information. You break it down into more digestible concepts.

Your reaction is the first time I ever caught the "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" reference from the Lion King. Ted saying "What?.....Who?......Oh?" after Nate's press conference

Seems like Ted's response to the question about Nate in the press room was a bit like the final rap battle in 8 Mile. If you proclaim or make light of all the things they might be able to say to disrespect you, then they have no more ammo. They can't say anything else.

I believe this is supposed to be an official Richmond Lego like, the people in England that are fans of RFC would be able to buy. so I don’t believe that the team’s psychiatrist would be a part of the Lego. 😅 now if it’s a Ted Lasso Lego, then yes, she is an important character that would be in it. Great reaction as always!

I did not notice any hand drawing haha looked pretty normal legos to me so I just concluded that also **** mentions of future episode****** There’s also a scene where Nate is playing with Lego’s and Ted falls out of it .. I just thought it was the same thing, official legos, but you could be right 😅

19:53 in ted's case it's respond with kindness, not kill. yes most of us would've said those things with bad intentions but not Ted. He's all about forgiveness and understanding. the fact that he said sorry to Nate after nate said all those mean things to him at the end of S2, shows that. my goal is to be half as forgiving n understanding as Ted, because it's way to easy to hate or say mean things
