Magalor will always be my favorite Kirby villain for two reasons. 1. He was the first Kirby final boss I ever beat in my early days of playing Kirby games 2. God dang did he play me all the way to the end. I still remember the emotions I actually harbored during the entire final boss fight for his trickery.

Re-visiting this after KRTDL’s remake came out. Gotta say, when hearing the lore behind what was happening in this fight, Magolor getting corrupted the moment he put on the crown, the final boss felt less like revenge for Magolor stabbing you in the back, more like trying to save him as well as the universe from the crown. I am so happy that Magolor’s epilogue tied into this further.

As a person who's first Kirby antagonist was a flying jester, and the second a good guy corrupted evil, this is really giving me some nostalgia from the past. I'm not even sure which one holds fonder memories for me, but this guy will forever be on my top 10 final bosses I've personally (With the help of my childhood pals) fought, and you've captured the feeling I had fighting this cuck till the end. Another Dimension gave me the determination flowing through my veins to get closer to Magolor. Under My Control gave me the anxiety of fighting a guy I thought of as a "friend". How it goes all over the place, but also manages to sound good in your arrangement, it gave me the strenght to whoop Magolors ass after all these years. Then there's C.R.O.W.N.E.D, which has to be one of my favorite final boss themes. It gave me the determination and strenght to whoop his ass a second time ingame, even though he manifested into a godlike being. Though your older arrangement gave me the feeling of panic and fear I had when I was a kid, this rearrangement gave me the feeling of... Finale, like, you know, "This is the ending to the battles against your rival/foe.", that kinda vibe. And the funny thing is, that's just the way I see final bosses nowadays. But enough of the rambling. I just wanted to say that I'm proud of you, Desolo. You have grown so much as a musician. Even though your subscriber count isn't as big as others, all of these subscribers of yours are loyal. (At least when it comes to Kirby stuff, lol) Even though I don't have that much experience on the music field, people like you have inspired me to do music too. Only for a hobby though, not getting that invested in my musical skills. I'd rather stick to drawing. I hope you have a good day, and for now and until the next video, see ya.

Magolor is probably one of the most conflicted characters in Kirbyverse. He starts out wanting to use the Master Crown's power for good, and removes it from Landia because it drove the four Dragons insane. But then it affects Magolor once he put it on, and he goes Megalomaniac, forcing Kirby to kick his ass. When he loses, the Crown amps up the power, and suppresses Magolor's mind almost completely. Kirby wins again, destroying the Crown, and Magolor vanishes until the Anniversary Collection is released, where he apologized and explained what the Master Crown had done to his mind. Ever since, he's been on Kirby's side, even helping against the Jambandra Cult and Void Termina. Plus he owns a shop, too.

Entirely false lmao, Magolor just wanted the crown to be powerful and Landia was only guarding the crown to ensure it wouldn't fall into the wrong hands. The crown had sentience at that point, yes, but Magolor still had his free will until the very end where the crown decides to go complete fucko mode and betrays him.

Alright, so for starters the intro is there and the new downward notes starting at 6:37 are a great addition leading into the bellowing choir. One thing I will say is better in your original version is the drums. The drums in the original version had this chain rattling/metal working sound that to me represented Magalor being enslaved to the will of the Master Crown. Violens were a good choice for the main melody and I like how it's distant sounding like the Moonstruck Blossom rearrangement. The last thing I can note in being new and original is the new ending. This is a really faithful version of C-R-O-W-N-E-D and I can't say that's a good or bad thing. Now for the new outro I absolutely love how quiet it is at the start with only the melody and the Choir and then how it builds up with a new melody and bringing back the chains I mentioned earlier. The new Melody starting at 9:21 is fabulous and the song drowns out in the perfect way. So yeah, it's really faithful to the original and I can't decide if that's good or bad. If you could have added more maybe this comment would be school essay length but hey. One thing I will say I don't like is not the music but the video itself. I've noticed this starting with the Sectonia stuff but the video's themselves to me at least have become a bit boring to watch. I know that's not the main point of the videos, but to me I would still say that The Astral Birth section during the Void Melody was your best combination of both music and video i've seen on your channel. the eye of the void staring at you while the particles trail of screen and change color with changes in the music is still the reason why it's my favorite remix of Astral Birth and some of your best work in my opinion. Of course that takes more time to make but I personally wouldn't mind waiting another week or 2 for something like that for maybe say Star Dream Soul OS perhaps. (also not hating on the artist but the Magolor Soul animation has a looping problem were the background cuts out and it disappears and reappears for a frame. it's a little distracting for me personally.) So what I get from this is that Magolor EX's description blows, and we killed Magolor's red and blue soul back at the end of the Normal Story Mode. So this black thing is actually the Master Crown emulating the destroyed essence of egg boi.
