Thanks a million times for uploading this rare Gem. Lyrics is by GR8 Rajinder Krishan ji, not Hasrat Jaipuri. C Ramchander was one of the brightest STAR of Indian Music, in 50-60's. Anarkali had more than 11 songs. Believe it or not, 7 songs were composed by C Ramachandra in record TWO HOURS while travelling in Mumbai by local train. Great legend Naushad had said in one interview "When producer used to come to me and ask me to compose songs in just couple of days, i used to request producer to contact C Ramachandra. C Ramchandra many times used to compose songs with lightening speed.

Superb singing and composition. I think, rather am sure that he sang this unique composition v effortlessly. The great thing about him was that his compositions are v v simple and the singers sang these without any trouble and stress. I have headed nearly all his compositions. I think Raga Bageshri was his favourite raaga. However if u listen to his compositions, That Kaafi was his favourite and a big nos of his songs were based on Ragas of That Kafi.
