I am really thankful for this reading. I've had in mind to attempt writing a novel but have struggled with the idea that what I wanted to write might be too derivative or unimaginative. I listened to this twice and I think I get what Mr. Lewis was getting at. I might try writing that thing after all. It will probably be terrible--not everyone can succeed at such things after all--but this reading makes me think I should try.

I don’t think religious dogma is good for literature. Mediocre writers confirm; great writers explore.

Thank you for posting these videos. I know you don't get much material profit from it, but do it anyway. It means a lot to me, Lewis was a great thinker and once more i thank you for providing these gems to the public.
