I really love this, beautifully played as well...Franck made some of the most sublime works in music in my opinion, I never will tire of listening to his works. Thanks for uploading and playing this so wonderfully.

This is, in my opinion, the best interpretation of this piece. It is neither sentimental nor overstated. Bravo.

Oh, this piece is truly exquisite. I love how it returns to the theme (that would be the variation, I guess, lol). I cannot stop listening to it. You have created this lovely interpretation laced with simplicity, longing and passion. It's in the nature of a reflection, really. It's beauty is piercing. Thanks, again!!

Thank you! I did not know there already existed a version of this work (one of my best loved for the organ) for piano!

Prodigieux !!!! Seule version du PFV valable sur le net. On se croirait à St Eustache dans la version de référence de Jean Guillou (Dorian 1990)

@3NUNS : and note the HAUGH! of the pianoforte´s frame when the performer lowers the dampers after the last chord of the recital.

This not a Russian or German work. Don't give it that kind of approach. Listen; this is a very intimate work. NOt a grand concert work. I very much dislike this Russian/German approach. Sent with love. Listen to what you've just play. This has to do with the loss of a loved one. Sent with love. Don't strike the keys. Thank you. Sent with love. CVD
