Wonderful. I first heard this when I wandered into the cathedral in Reims when I was 18. It made me cry then and did now. Such happy memories. Thank you.

Wow! You weave a beautiful sinuous tapestry of sound with your playing. It’s fantastically musical. I’m sure a huge amount of effort went into the phrasing, but it was all absolutely worth it. Thank you so much.
@philipaggesen Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot Mark. Phrasing is actually one of things I focus on when recording. Not just playing the notes. So I’m really glad you could hear it 🙏🏻

The "holy ghost" of inspiration is running strong through you, Philip! This interpretations of yours gives me the goosebumps. May the "muses" keep favouring you for without them we musicians (me being a most humble lay musician) are nothing. This reminds me of a famous quotation by J. S. Bach: "Mit aller Musik soll Gott geehrt und die Menschen erfreut werden. Wenn man Gott mit seiner Musik nicht ehrt, ist die Musik nur ein teuflischer Lärm und Krach." (Probably you understand the German, but in case you don't, here the same in English: "All music should revere god and delight people. If one does not revere god with his music, then all music is nothing but devilish noise and uproar.") Congratulations!

Dear Andreas. Thank you so much for your kind comment and for bringing that quote from Bach to my knowledge. It truly is the most important job we have as musicians. To be able to move and inspire the listener. I am really proud I have succeeded in delivering that experience to you. God bless!

Man, you have way less views and subs than you deserve. Perhaps try to move the Hauptwerke sampleset names to the description? Something is messing with the algorithm for sure. Just a thought... Keep up the good work!
@philipaggesen Жыл бұрын
Hi Paulo. Thank you for your kind comment. I would also love to get more views but I don't know what else to do. One reason why I write Hauptwerk in the title is because it then gets a more prominent placement in search. Maybe my thumbnails are boring? Would love to hear your opinion on what to do :-)
@PauloSilva252 Жыл бұрын
@@philipaggesen yeah I am not a KZbin algorithm expert 😅 maybe ask Richard McVeigh what he thinks about this if possible? He does have a big channel and he has recommended your work before
