C-SPAN Cities Tour - Salt Lake City: Mitsugi Kasai Japanese American Archives

See historic pictures, newspapers, and artifacts related to Japanese immigrants who came to Utah in the late 19th century. Lorraine Crouse, curator for the Japanese American Collection at the J. Willard Marriott Library at the University of Utah, takes us through the Japanese history in Salt Lake City from their time as miners and farmers, to the creation of Japan town in the heart of the city, to Utah's Japanese relocation camp during World War II.
