Yes , painful to see such a young woman having to go through this . Wish we had a different culture where , she could choose her life like men do if they loose their spouse . I wish she heals and thinks about having a companionship . Wish Indian women were not burdened and made to take pain of being alone for family responsibilities… she could choose her life and still take care of her children as well … if she was my daughter , I would do that for her … both sides grandparents should support at this point and make this women stronger … she has very very long life ahead

If the wife dies, the guy gets married straight away for the reason for looking after the kids and if no kids more convenient for them to get married. IF the husband dies, they praise the lady for being a single parent and want her to be alone for the rest of her life and then she is a good woman and a good mother. There are very few good men who are really good and progressive in their thoughts to be fair, but don't glorify the women to be single and alone after husband's death. If they really want to live like that it is okay but many are forced due to the society/parents etc. I did not watch this interview so don't necessarily mean her but generally for women who are widowed.
