I think it was at its peak 1984-1987. I liked the Tony takoushi column. Switched to ACE when that started and the ST/Amiga Format when that came out with a cover disk

Love it. Glad to see these old mags haven't been lost to the ages. Have you considered scanning/digitizing them for prosperity? I know there's at least 1 project online dedicated to preserving old magazines, including video game ones.

Most of the ones I have are already online, if I find one that isn't I usually scan it and upload it somewhere.

Cvg was my favorite, the first one i had was the one with bruce willis in die hard on the front. I dont remember the year maybee late 80s early 90s. I had a pile of them which my mum threw out when i moved out, i wish i still had them. I bet you have bought sum poor soles collection which their mum or wives thrown out😂 back then i had an amstrad cpc 6128. The only games i ever bought where budget for 3 quid all the rest i borrowed the cheapskate i am😂
