I highly suggest using java over CPP if you are a backend java developer. I personally have faced this issue in the interviews where they are not allowing me to write code in CPP. They strictly wanted me to solve the DSA problem in java as I was giving the interview for the java developer backend position.

bht Sahi , good agar apne c++ me foundation strong kr liya h to please stick with c++ - start learning DSA. You don't need to switch into java for development after Dsa you can start JavaScript

Hi Navneet. Must know topics - Foundation, OOPs, Exception Handling For GUI apps or you can call development you can create an application which can be destop app or web app. Desktop apps you need (Java Swing, MySQL, JDBC) + working with API's For Web Application you need (JDBC, Servlet, JSP, MySQL, html) + working with API's

Github par java ke projects find karo uska code samajne ki kosis karo pehle For example - kisi ne weather predection application banaya h then apko uska pura process samjna hoja kaha kya ho rha h. then apko lagta h app kuch graph add kr sakte ho ya sath me koi or information bhi fetch krke dusri api se like Air Index etc. then ish feature ka code likhne ka try karo and push karo but before that you need to raise pull request.(Github bhi ana jaroori h)
