Hey thank you for the video. My question is which one of those wires is the speed sensor? I see you have 2 wires and are only replacing 1. Thank you.

trace it from the wheel, where the speed sensor is connected behind the brake rotor (behind the rotor you have only one of them connected with a 10mm) and follow it to the top without removing the other one...it should come off itself, then when you install the new one just put them back together again to plug in on the top part...this is the speed sensor only (that is why ABS and Cruise Control don't work because the car can't read the speed)

Yeah my c-250 is having the same exact issues and all the same dash messages. I ordered the obd and the part from Fcp. I really appreciate your help. Thanks again for the great video!

@@tonyb7013 yeah the C class is almost the same parts like the GLK, i didn't think to check for this sensor on FCP somwhow...that's where i get all my parts usually but this time i guess it was too cheap on amazon to pass lol

Yeah Amazon is hard to beat sometimes. That's where I ordered the obd from for 30 bucks and the sensor from Fcp for 40 bucks

@tonyb7013 i bought the sensor for 20 something on amazon but FCP is better because you have the lifetime return

My car says the same thing, the right front sensor only to change? Thanks
@OMNITEK Жыл бұрын
if it says the same right side..yes..i only changed the right side sensor with the one i linked on description and it has been working perfect ever since...after you install it either erase codes with an OBD-2 scanner...or simply start the car and drive it for maybe 2-3 miles and it should go away (sometimes)....but yes, this was the sensor i changed.@@DavidVentura-s6t

@@OMNITEK Thank you for your response. God bless you. It helped me a lot. If I deleted the codes and they did not appear again, thank you.

So what can be the problem
@OMNITEK2 ай бұрын
i just changed the same sensor on the other side of the car recently, based on what i have seen it might be just due to age and heat during the years that makes the sensor stop working, sometimes it can malfunction if you go over a big hole in asphalt or anything that shakes the wheel too quick and fast...meaning violently...i know some people have had luck just taking it out and cleaning it (the sensor part behind the brake wheel) but i tried and it didn't work so i just changed it...thankfully it's not an expensive part and it's not very hard to do yourself mostly.

What about you change the sensor and the light refused to go off

Did you reset the code after? Sometimes if you dont reset the code with an obd it will stay on.
