Not sure how that is even possible since takes putting your foot on the brake pedal to initiate the brakes so for something that severe I would recommend you bring it to the dealer

Another safety tip my Dad taught me is that especially if you are using a factory jack or hydraulic or any other jack for that matter, and don't happen to have a proper jack stand, that after one takes the wheel off the car, to put it under the car on the side that you are lifting, so that It acts as a safely stopgap and even if the car falls, it will not fall far, and also if one is caught under part of the car if this happens, it will not cause a bad day/week/month/year/life/death..

guys, do not raise your car with the mercedes emergency jack found in the trunk in order to work on your car. these jacks can fail when used on not level ground qnd they are cjeap piecea of crap. use a good quality hydraulic jack, find a spot for a jack stand and also put something like the wheel that you removed, underñeath that side of the car. if you are not experienced at this then get a second opinion before working on something like this. he says dont put your hand under there but that isnt the only issue. you are bending down going under and reaching under the vehicle and it can fall and kill you

So i have this exam code on my car, i changed the abs sensor. Went for a drive and the abs light came back. I run the diagnostic and no fault codes again but abs light is still there. Any suggestions please

We have heard people say it took a day for it to go away.Another thing you can try also is turning your steering wheel all the way over to the left and until it stops and then all the way back until the right until it stops, do that a couple of times, that sometimes helps resets the sensor. If that doesn't work then it could be that it set a fault code in your engine that you're OBD2 scanner is not seeing. Many of the less expensive scanners can't get deep enough into the Mercedes computers to see the fault, and reset the faults and check engine lights. So for example until we bought the BlueDriver OBD2 reader which is about $100, we couldn't see certain faults but then once we got this unit and plugged it in we were able to see the faults and clear them as well. But this ABS particular code should disappear on its own. If it doesn't you might want to check the other side wheel speed sensor as well, read the code out of the engine and make sure it's still referring to the same wheel sometimes it's best to replace these in pairs both the left and the right side. Let us know what you find.

@@laboratorio-tomatesdelguad5585 the quickest way to fix a problem... is to trade it in like most German car owners do. A CLA250 is not worth the cost of its maintenance at dealership. Find an independent shop is your best option 👍

Hello. I have a weird issue with the ABS system on my w204. The code coming is from front left wheel sensor. I have replaced and swapped the sensor and changed it to the right side as a test. Sensor and wheel bearing are both ok and tested but the error still remains. There is no other error. Just the front wheel speed sensor on the left. What could it be??? Is the ABS control module fried ?? The car has only 49k km on it.

@@illia.s Yes i figured it out myself. It was both ABS sensors. I replaced them both and everything was fine. The voltage was showing OK on both sensors and that was mis-leading. Thats why i assumed that the sensors were ok but actually there were not. ABS sensors are the most common issue in this series. I really hope you work it out. Good luck!

@@catchy4626 I got it as a scrap spare part from a junk yard store for 2 dollars a piece . It’s terrible that Mercedes goes whack when ABS system has a tiny issue . The car just wants to drift . It’s absolute nightmare .

I can't believe you don't put a jack stand under the car, or at least a cement block with some wood between it and the frame. If that car comes down, even if your hand is not under the rotor, you are going to have a bad day.

Just drove a long distance and discovered the lights went off and didn't come on again I guess driving these cars on really bad roads sometimes can trigger the lights to come on
