Resignation means: a sad feeling of accepting something that you do not like because you cannot easily change it. About Q22, the speaker said "..He wanted me to start on some other project. I'd been warned that was coming.." >>> that's not an unexpected offer, she'd been warned about that before" >> D is not correct.

20C is false! He says: "it's true that there are more people over 35 buying it than there were when it started". The only option non-false seems to be 20B.

Yes, he says: : "it's true that there are more people over 35 buying it than there were when it started", but after that he says:" the readership hasn't really changed, it is still basically intelligent young people who do things" >>> the majority of the readers are still young people, not people who are over 35. And in 1968, the majority of readers were student (young people) >>> it is more or less the same age >> C is the correct answer.
