I'm so glad I seen this video because I definitely would have put it in wrong watching the other videos of these. They put their seals on the outside and it just looks wrong and seeing yours on the inside is definitely right thanks for sharing this video 👍👍👍💯💯

Awesome video as always man. Love your attention to detail. That green truck that you also have there in the shop sure has some nice looking patina on it. 😁👍🏻👍🏻

The rubber is not supposed to be pushed in. It’s supposed to be pulled out

Nicole Anderson after extensive research early models and half tons were found to be tucked in. Late Suburbans typically installed them on the outside. Ultimately it’s up to you. I chose tucked in.

What leads you to say that ?

I watched two of the precision videos one said the weatherstripping flaps had to on the outside and the other said it needed to be tucked inside. Which one is it? I have a 1980 GMC Sierra K1500

thats a good question, i'm here looking for the same thing!! wish they would answer

Nick your model typically went with the inside technique rather than tucked out. Overall 80% of them were tucked in 20% of them were tucked out. I found that that’s tucked in method worked best for me.
