The M271 is not a particularly economical engine. On long journeys it consumes 7 to 8 liters per 100km, my lowest fuel consumption per 100km was 6.8l/100km according to the on-board computer. In stop and go traffic, however, this C Coupe consumes fuel like a V6, and overall the fuel consumption is not that good considering the 143 hp

My lowest fuel consumption according to car computer was 6.0 l/100 with setted up tempomat at 120 km/h. Mine (245/17 rear tires) has a smaller pulley and software remap.
