c2 vts 06 making horrible tapping noise

my c2 vts making a horrible tapping noise any one know what it is?

Don't worry. Is the typical TU5 sound. Try to use a 5w40 oil

Its not tappets(lifters). Its valve knocking due to burn. I got same problem more then a year. First I changed lifters - no difference. Then exhaust valves. Expensive fix.

On the same engine? One of the valve bent or there was burn residue on the valve?

Absolutely same engine. Valves just gone burned.

What do you call an expensive fix? Mines doing it now but not quite as bad yet

is that not just the tappits? mechanic can adjust them easily enough
