Ultimate Sim I wouldn't say it is easy. They are very strict with the hiring process and the interview is one of the hardest I have had so far. Requirements are 250 hrs TT. Mike

Well, the main reason is so that they hire competent pilots. In the end some of the places we fly can be quite dangerous, so we need to be on top of our game

Hi, I am on a Bengkulu tour, so fly to Padang a few times a week. I have updated the blog with a new subscription form, hopefully this will help. It unfortunately has to go through the confirmations ect just so spam and all is stopped. Noted, I will add some titles to the photos for sure! Thanks for the tips and thanks for watching!

I mentioned Padang, because, back in those days, there was a so called Padang tour, with, of course, incursions into Bengkulu, Muku Muko and the beautiful islands around. I'ill wait for blog confirmation, then, so that I can comment, if it´s the case. I´ll follow your blog with pleasure and giving you some tips. Ah ok, yeah it is now just Sumatra and smaller bases everywhere. Ok, great, I have received your sub and have manually added it, I changed software because the other was not really user friendly, many teething problems still for me. I have also changed the commenting permissions, I had thought it was free to comment, but as you pointed out it needed permission as well. I have changed that so no need at all. Cheers thanks again!

Hi Andy, thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it. For me at this time I have no ambition to go fly in the airlines, I am aiming at flying the Pilatus Porter in the mountains for the next few years. Possibly when I get older and want a more settled lifestyle I will look at airlines, but who knows.

Hi Ashwin, the best thing to do is go to an aviation doctor (just google for your country) and get the answers from them. You are able to wear glasses when you fly, so it shouldn't be a problem.
