HelloI I liked your explanation. I live in Brazil and I have problems with my C230 Kompressor 2005. My mechanical told me that I must do change it because are axle play. So, I bought one used . I found one but again the mechanical told me that the one, had the rotors(inside) small scratches. I ask u, it's real, I can lose pressure pass though scratches?

Hi thanks for the video. I have some clue now. I have similar issue with my car currently c200 kompressor. I have one error. Accelerator pedal sensor(hall sensor 1 open/short circuit in wiring). How can I go about fixing the problem?

You need a diagnostic tool to be sure about that. If you're sure then you need to try replacing the pedal sensor! Sometimes its not the pedal but a registered communication error that needs to be wiped out with a diagnostic tool

Sometimes it's the sensor of the coolant that is faulty. You need to have it checked.

What could it be if you already replaced the accelerator pedal sensor go thru the relearn procedure. And it works for 1 day then you go to drive it the next day and have the same problem (no pedal response)

If you changed the accelerator pedal sensor and it happens the next day, it might be that the Throttle body is having issues too. It happens sometimes. It's important you check with the diagnostic tool to know the exact problem.

​@TechLoam is there a way to replace only the TPS on the throttle body? I think the motor in the throttle body is ok as the car revs up and down but it does this without stepping on the pedal 😢

@@therealrobertbecker that sounds like the gas pedal sensor problem I just fixed a new sensor and battery fixed mine

@@lorenzobordeaux8604 I replaced accelerator pedal with a brand new one 'guessing' that was the issue, but the issue remains. Do I need to reset anything after changing the pedal? With the issue remaining, I thought I'd reach out and see if I could I replace the TPS without changing the the throttle body. I'll post the two ODB Codes. Thanks for any help.

Can you please share the link of the scannner. Also I have an issue with my AC after a couple of diagnosis I’m told to replace the evaporator which mean the whole dashboard will be taken off and I’m just not comfortable with the process . Please do you have any advise for me?

Yes. The evaporator can be damaged sometimes. You need very good hands to remove the dashboard carefully and replace them nicely. The scanner is AUTEL MaxiDiag Elite. I can't find it on Amazon.com but they have higher ones also.

Hi can you clean the TPS with fuel

Please don't use fuel... there's a cleaner for it...a spray kind of cleaner specific for TPS...sometimes some black debris could disturb the opening and closing of the opening. I think that spray dissolves and flushes it out without harming the internal electronics.

I see I have the problem you are talking about is it true to this problem no actual error comes up inside the car ? Just you feel drastic power loss but everything else with the car seems running like new ?

I need to understand how yours happens because sometimes it takes a while to regain power. Sometimes you switch off and on after 10s and the power is restored but sometimes it takes days. Everything will run like new. It's not the engine that is affected but the mechanisms that move the car.

I always start the car and leave it to run for up to 2mins or more. When I get a certain peaceful sound from the engine i switch it off. I do this as a routine. I will suggest you check the air filter it might be dusty.

i have a 2003 c200 kompressor, it snapped the serpentine belt, i replaced with a new continental belt than it snapped again.. the car start and idle. can it be supercharger ? regards.

You need a technician to check the rollers (pulleys) that are connected to the serpentine belt. Sometimes they can be stiff for one reason or the other. The compressor, alternator, or the supercharger can be responsible sometimes.

It's either the throttle body, MAF or Pedal sensor problem. You also need to check the air flow passage, if any of them is not properly secured this can happen. I mean if the air is leaking from any of them. It always seems like its the Mass Air Flow (MAF) but it might just be a simple connection problem. Just use a diagnostic tool to clear the error and if it happens again just check the component likely to be the issue using the tool.

You need to check the fuel filter or the indomie at the exhaust system. Sometimes the fuel filter pipes will start to get wet and the smell of fuel will be perceived inside the car. It means the fuel is leaking and need a repair. As for the exhaust there is always a balance the ECU tried to maintain between intake of air and exhaust of smoke air from the engine. When the indomie is empty the balance is altered and that can lead to fuel loss.
