C2C Class 387 (on hire to GWR) ride - Newbury to Reading

On the 21/05/21, me and my friend managed to take round trip on a C2C Class 387 unit that was on short term hire to Great Western Railway from Reading to Newbury and back.
This video covers the return leg of the journey.
At the time of filming, the C2C Class 387s were operating the Reading to Newbury stopping services, whilst GWR’s own Class 387s were being redeployed on London Paddington to Swindon services while their Class 800 and Class 802 IETs are being inspected and repaired following the discovery of cracks.
