Good morning Mike i am jeff pecosky from Colorado i have a 1972 Corvette Stingray i have radiator fluid leaking from a fiberglass box in front of the gas tank im not sure what or why coolant is leaking from the box do you know why and what the fiberglass box is and why it would be leaking ??

Hi Jeff, There are two boxes in front of the tank. The driver side box is the battery box, and the passenger side is a storage compartment. I'm not sure why coolant would be leaking from these areas. It might be possible that coolant is leaking from the engine compartment and is migrating to the back while driving.

If you open the compartments from the interior side, you could confirm if it is leaking from the boxes or migrating from the front.

The coolant tank (with overflow) is located on the passenger side inner fender. If the leakage you're seeing is on the passenger side, I'd look there too.
