That’s some serious hardware! I went with Corvette America stainless sleeve and o-ring calipers paired with their drilled and slotted rotors. The stock brakes have saved my life in several occasions. Powerstop ceramic pads work great as well.

I got the same car and same setup! I stupidly tried fitting the back calipers on the front of the hubs and was wondering why it wouldn't line up right. Luckily I watched your video and figured out my error. Took me two days and numerous tear downs on my rotors to try to make it work lol.

Very Nice! I just did a similar kit on my Chevelle. If you ever do this again, a lil' trick I used to torque the hub lugs and other bolts, you can put them in the back of the wheel and torque that way. It'll make the job way easier. I know a lil' late now for your install, but just incase for another time. Very nice car!

my 65 had four wheel disc, first year.

Standard equipment or optional? I’m not sure if I made that clear. Only American made car with standard four wheel disk brakes.

Damn. Are those 600 pound hyperco spring rates in the front? Turn-in is gonna be crisp.

You can use a wheel as a holder when tightening those studs

Good thinking.

Hey man I have drilled and slotted rotors like that but I read on a bunch of corvette forums and posted the question as to what direction the holes should go and I was wondering if all rotors should have the same pattern direction for the drilled holes in the rotor.
@OntheMarkwithMark2 жыл бұрын
Wilwood has an arrow of rotors milled into the rotors so there is no mistaking the way they should be turning.

Mark, I’ve been following and reviewing your C3 ride tech front suspension installation and I’m having the same upper control arm rubbing against the inner fender area, both front and back. Was the solution in fact to trim to make room? If so, how much as I have no idea how much up travel the arms does. Steve

I have not cut mine yet…. Not sure how I going to do it.

So was that a big brake kit for the front? Or are those the Camaro calipers that ridetech suggest?
@OntheMarkwithMark2 жыл бұрын
These measure 12 1/4” diameter not the big ones.

Man, i just got 6 piston calipers for my 74, but my calipers are on the front of the wheel, wonder if the hose is long enough now, guess I'll find out soon. Update: hose is plenty long

How much weight did you save?
@OntheMarkwithMark2 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry I didn’t weigh any of it. I would guess, not much.

All that bling and you kept ralley wheels? You are covering it all up. Get some wheels to show it off. I put Ridler 695s on mine.
