Guys I'm c6-c7 and t4-t7 complete spinal injury patient, i have been bedridden for 4 years, no movement no sensation but today slowly I'm started regaining some sensation and movement and through my experience i just want to share that nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself, stay positive and keep pushing regular exercise. You can go to best physio therapy center but if you are not positive or if you don't believe in yourself, your physical therapy will have little impact. So guys be positive, nothing is impossible if you have the will power. Very soon i will try to upload the vedio of my recovery journey. Peace

My Sister Met with RTA on Oct 31 2024 and sustained complete Cervical Spine Injury (burst fracture and complete spinal cord transection) at C5 to T1 She is now paraplegic (lower limb 0/5 power and zero sensation). No bowel and bladder sensation, Upper limb movement is there but less grip. Cough reflex is weak. Still with tracheostomy tube Saturation is maintaining with tracheostomy tube Excess secretions present, removes through suction May I know, will it help my sister to recovery from paraplegia ??

MRI REPORT Protocol of Sequences: AXIAL: T1 & FSE T2 Wis; SAGITTAL: T1 & FSE T2 Wis. CORONAL: STIR Findings: Partial collapse of C4 and C5 bodies are seen with altered normal marrow signal likely Posttraumatic. Retro pulsion of posterior cortex of C4 and C5 bodies are seen compressing cord with contusion edema extending from lower C2 level to lower C7 level. Normal spinal curvature maintained. Rest of vertebral bodies and intervertebral discs are showing normal morphology, signal intensity, height and outline. Rest of vertebrae are showing normal alignment and bone marrow signal. No significant disc bulge or herniation is seen in cervical region. Neural foramina with exiting nerve roots show normal MR morphology. Rest of spinal cord is normal in signal intensity and configuration. No evidence of any osseous or soft tissue anomaly at cranio-vertebral junction. Facet joints and ligamentum flavum are normal. Pre and para -vertebral soft tissues are normal. Screening of rest of spine is unremarkable. IMPRESSION: MR study reveals partial collapse of C4 and C5 bodies with altered normal marrow signal likely Posttraumatic. Sir, 3 months ago my patient had an accident and it was found that it was D4 burst fracture which has ruptured the nervous system and after the surgery patient has been transferrred to rehab center for some therapy and mostly for learning to use wheelchair.
