C4 Picasso BSI reset due to "Check indicator direction" "Check sidelights"

Post battery disconnection I have "Check indicator direction" message on dash and also "check sidelights" BSI reset cured

The 'hold remote close button for 10 seconds' - is that with ignition on or off? Bearing in mind the car is keyless, so you need to put the key in? I'm also assuming when you took the key out and tested the remote, the ignition was off?

Great easy to follow video, do you think a BSI reset would fix my problem below im having an issue with my citroen C4 1.6 diesel hatchabck 65 plate, when i turn the key to the on poistion the display shows the "electical circuit failure:have the vehicle rapired" warning, and beeps 3 times the service light also appears on the dash. The car starts and drives fine. I tried to check battery volts yesterday but volt meter was playing up, so i just disconnected the positive terminal, left it for a min or two and reconnected, warning went away and i reset the service light by holding the mileage counter down method. Then i starated the car, everything looked good. Turned it off and started it another two times, all fine. I then locked the car and went in for tea, came out aboutan hour later put keys in turned them to the set position before starting engine, warning came back as did the service light.

Step 9 : I can't turn ON ignition without key inserted in key reader, I tried but message on display say No key recognize.

Will doing this get the bumper indicators working again. I got towed due to a spark plug issue and as soon as i got it back i have had this warning up. Checked the bulbs all fine they just dont work but all my other hazards do

Bumper indicators at the back? They only operate when the boot is open.

@@andrewlumb814 they don't work even when boot is open. I now been told it could be because the RAC discounted my battery

Changed the battery on my Citroen C4 2015 grand Picasso and it’s sent everything haywire. Will try this procedure.

Great video! New battery on mine but don’t have an “off” switch on my lights, only on or auto. Might try a BSI reset as some systems not working after new battery put in!
