It was just simply fun, as a sport should be. One day, out of a nostalgic fever, you decided to visit your old high school. Your first instinct is to head back to the last place you remember, which is the gymnasium. The outside door to the gym is... broken as it’s always been, so it’s easy to slip in. You walk slowly, in the dimly lit hall that is the gymnasium. The only light is from the small row of windows at the top of the walls, shining like spotlights, almost. This is first time you’ve been here in... years. As you walk you feel an urge to stop... in a certain spot. You’re right on the 3-point line. You begin holding your hands up in front of your chest, and looking to the basket... then everything floods back to you... You remember the last basketball game of your senior year. It’s a neck-in-neck game with your rivaling high school. Your team is down 2 points. It’s the final 7 seconds of the game. The crowd is going nuts. Quentin has the ball, but he can’t make the layup, the defense is too strong. 6 seconds. He looks to Charlie for a pass, but he’s covered up by two enemies. 5 seconds. You shout out to Quentin, “I’m open!” 4 seconds. Quentin jerks his head and does not even hesitate to bounce the ball your way. 3 seconds. You look around for any paths up to the basket, but there’s no way. You have to make the 3-pointer. 2 seconds. You let instinct take over. You jump, and launch the ball from your fingertips. The crowd goes silent. They forget to shout the final the one second... BZZZZ It makes it. The game is over, and your team had pulled through against your rivals. The band starts playing your fight song, and you dance with your teammates as they lift you up. Quentin, Charlie, Michael, David and everyone else, they’re right there with you. You dance, you smile, you close your eyes and breathe... You look up. You’re back. Back in the dimly lit gymnasium. You still hear the echoes of that final buzzer ringing in your ear. You look around, and your team isn’t there. You know some of them went off to college, some of them stayed at home. Some of them went off the face of the earth, entirely. They’re all gone. You’re alone in this dimly lit gymnasium. You sit on your knees, you bite your lip, you open your tearful eyes and choke on your sobs... That’s what I hear in this song. I’m not a basketball player, but I come from a similar situation as this. I played with an Xbox group who did EVERYTHING together. We all played the same games, hunted the same achievements, and fought against the same sweaty try-hards. Then we all split up, after high school. Our work drove us away from the Xbox, and our team was silently disbanded. I’m sure most of you relate to this. If you relate to this, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a gamer, an athlete, or any kind of team member, I want you to think back to a time when you had your team. It may be sad to think that it’s over, but don’t be sad that it’s gone. Be happy that it happened. Also, don’t be afraid to reach out to your old friends. They miss you just as much as you miss them. When I hear this song, poetically enough, I remember my childhood, an ancient game called "balance" on the home computer, a flash game called "Armed with wings 3", the first time I watched Avatar : The Last Airbender and of course playing Minecraft for the first time in 1.7.2. Мы как всегда, дождавшись раннего вечера, отправляемся на нашу "секретную базу" которую однозначно никто не видел и не слышал о ней. Народ потихоньку собирается, и уже к семи часам все в сборе, мы печем картошку в костре, и доделываем свою базу, тоскаем ветки, бревна, и доски. Все сидим у костра и рассказываем страшилки.. Помню у каждого еще тогда была тетрадка, мы сдавали ее старшему пацану из нашей кмпашки, и он писал каждому сто нужно сделать сегодня. Как только темнело половина уходила, оставались только два чувака, им было под 12 лет чтоли, ну и я с 1-2 челиками. В этот момент мы выезжали за водой с баклашками, а один человек был на стреме. После того как привезем, тушим костер и катаемся тупо окрестностям, с музыкой на старом флае, который еле слышно. Ну и расходились впринципе. База наша росла и крепчала. К моему удивление она до сих пор цела, и она действительно не привлекла особого внимания... В общем, вот моя история. Даа.. саундтрек из майна творит чудеса, он просто выкручивает ностальгию на полную.

Although I didn’t feel much nostalgic for this one, I still love this piece whenever I booted up Minecraft for my PS4. Too bad that changed it and removed the mini games and try to replace it with server which I don’t think are even in the game at this time. Other than that, I really like this!
