I am 17 and will soon turn 18, I have not played Minecraft for a very long time (in general, this last time was 2 years ago on my old laptop. I remember that it was summer then and I survived in the same world for a very long time. KZbin and after a while half of the house burned down due to my stupidity. Then I tried to explain to my mother why my mansion burned down, but she was somehow indifferent :) I understand her, at that time I did not have a good Internet to share the loss with friends. After the restoration of the mansion, I still had a bunch of plans, but ... in an instant, my laptop turned off and the world was lost. I tried to get it back in many ways but to no avail. Since then, I sometimes returned to minecraft, but I could no longer play comfortably due to the weakness of my laptop. It is now April 6, 2021 and I continue to write this comment with tears, listening to the wonderful composition Sweden. I was diagnosed with depression earlier this year and have not taken a pill for a long time. Until yesterday evening, everything was fine in terms of mood, but everything again went into the abyss. It's good that I remembered this song, and it reminded me of the times when I was not bothered by such shit as depression. In general, I am writing this comment for myself in the future, in order to remember this moment with a smile. But if suddenly someone else reads this, then you should know: many are experiencing a similar state (I mean depression) and many, unfortunately, cannot cope. I want to say that you try to find strength from good memories and fight in the present for your future. I really hope that this summer I will find a job and be able to save up for a computer in order to enter Minecraft and briefly remember a carefree childhood. (But this, of course, is not the only purpose of the purchase) Thanks to those who have read this and health to you and your loved ones, we live once

You wonder how after all these years this game still seems to hold up. How after all these years you still can’t seem to forget a simple, amazing game called Minecraft.

I remembered like one day I was feeling really sad and couldn't do anything, so I launched Minecraft, entered the creative mode, installed a nice shader, and just started building a straight line just above the water. The soundtracks started playing I had completely lost the sense of time. I had built this line for about three hours, but I couldn't even tell that this much time had passed, I have lost in the music and all this line-building was strangely therapeutic, calming. I was feeling like all my problems are just disappeared. There were only me, calm water, and this neverending line made from cobblestone. I did something similar. I really liked to dig tunnels from my base to different places. I had kilometers of tunnels stretching through desserts and oceans, and I would use them to get quickly from my house in a mountain to my house in a desert kilometers away. It took dozens of hours of repetitively breaking stone blocks to build those tunnels, but it wasn't boring at all.
