My headcanon for this song, after listening and dying from some nostalgia, is really simple: I feel as if this song kind of.. Resonates of two people. Lovers, Brothers, friends, whatever. Their you, the player in a way. And I can see the reason for the name of this song, " Wait". People have amazing nostalgic, but sad, memories about their friend leaving Minecraft for years never to be seen, and Wait describes that. That last moment you see them before, their gone. It also would correspond with the old title, ' Where are we now', where you just want to see them again. What happened. Why cant things go the same way. " Where are we now", " Where did we go", " Lost". That would be: ( 1:30 ), The decline. The rise would be.. exactly that, a rise. You, Yourself kinda moving on in a way. around 7 years ago when i used to play minecraft with my sister i would sometimes play this song and then start crying. i never did, and still don't know why but even now it still has a similar effect. very beautiful song

Came here because I remembered the track as it's original name before it was changed to "Wait" It brings a very specific memory of the time I built a fancy modern looking house out of dirt because i simply just didn't care to make it out of wood, had a sheep farm, and I listened to this disc from the top of a dirt tower looking at the sunset That was about 8 years ago
