I know songs involve singing. That's why they're called songs. But i don't know what else to call them, "themes", "tunes" i think it's tunes. So let me start over. Living Mice is one of my favorite tunes from Minecraft, aside from Sweden and Mice on Venus.

To everyone saying "Back when this game was good" or "I miss the good old days when Minecraft was good" (And there's a lot of these comments), you are talking like the actual game became worse. It didn't. You say you miss the days were you just wandered an unkown world full of secrets, building your base to survive the night, and just living an adventure. There is nothing - absolutely nothing - stopping you from still doing that. The game is still the same, it just has more blocks, more variety, if you wish to use it. That's it. What do you mean with "back when Minecraft was good"? You say that people only play Skywars and minigames now. So what? The game is about YOUR experience, not what other people are doing. What other people are doing in Minecraft right now has 0 impact on how you should play the game. So no, the game wasn't so much better before. It's still the same, and you can do exactly what you could before. You are talking about nostalgia, the memories of your first time playing. That is all. And that is great, I have it too, and it's a wonderful feeling. But the game itself is in no way worse now! Just play it like you want. That's the beauty of this game. So don't blame the game, blame your nostalgia.

You look at the empty landscape where your house will be. You step forward and. begin your work. You work for hours nonstop. You only stop to sleep so monsters won't attack you. Your work is slow, but that is OK. You love to build. You put much work and love and time into your building. When your work is finished, you step back to admire it. You then walk away to find more materials to build with. You have something very interesting in mind.

Yeah. I remember this song playing as I forgot where my house was, during what I'm sure was my first time playing Minecraft. I stopped playing it after a while, but I don't know why. This makes me feel the NEED to start playing it again, to fill a void that I should have noticed was there, making me feel less happy with my life all along. This is what furrydom and rediscovering my childhood love of Star Wars did for me. I first played the game in late childhood, and I realized something: I am on a journey to reclaim the things that made my childhood bearable, the happy parts of it that I can continue into adulthood.

I noticed something. Minecraft's music (and the game itself) is trying to convey itself as a beautiful environment, with danger lurking and mystery to be solved with each world. But the fanbase makes it look like some generic game meant for screaming kids. This is an example of a good game with a horrible fanbase.

You are absolutely right. Nostalgia about earlier Minecraft makes me gasp. It's, probably, the most atmospheric game, that I've played in my life. Even including all the "atmospherical" games from mainstream. Yeah. When Mojang invented hunger bar (plus sprint) and increased lighting in a few times, Minecraft died. Now it's nothing more, than just a popular sandbox. No mystery in it';s world. Everything now is so open, clear, brightened up. It makes me really sad. Even early pre-alpha was better than current state. It's so pity, that only a 2% of all Minecraft players can share my thoughts and feelings.

I've always felt like these songs in Minecraft all convey a certain theme. For me, this song conveys loneliness. It starts off quiet, then gradually grows in detail, eventually climaxing into a beautiful, yet somewhat somber melody. This I think represents the feeling of having to survive as a lone human in a world full of monsters who want you dead. The song is the realization of just how alone you are in the game. But that's just my interpretation. Sorry for getting philosophical.
@jasonrabideau391910 ай бұрын

been with this game since 2013. Am I the only one that prefers single player over servers, and factions and all that crap? I know no one cares but here's why: Single player gives you a sense of adventure, control, uncertainty, your own little world to explore just waiting for you to load in another chunk. I personally think minecraft's message is not just a game. But your distraction, a way to break into your own universe. Alone. Your decisions. Your rules. I dunno I'm getting too deep into it. But that reason keeps me coming back for more. Despite the fan base and negativity.

I played this game for 5 years. AKA started in 2011. I dont play on singleplayer. I play on mine OWN survival servers with my friends. Oh, and playing on servers that you made like this, It's so fun! It's addicting.

You climb a mountain and find a tree. You climb the tree. You look down to find a river surrounded by grassy feilds and horses. You look up to notice that the sun is setting onto the river. Everyone is complaining about how they miss the "good old days" of Minecraft. And yes, they were awesome. I must admit. But don't you see? All these updates are a good thing! I personally love 1.9, with its new combat elements. I don't understand why it was controversial at all. It added an entirely new layer to the game! Not to mention 1.7 or 1.8. Just thing about it logically for a minute. These updates aren't killing the game; they're keeping it alive! It may not be the exact same game that we all fell in love with years ago, but is that really a bad thing? Long live Minecraft and its many communities!!!
@quantumblur_31458 жыл бұрын
Here's the weirdest thing- one of the updates made it possible to literally go back and play *every previous version of Minecraft, all the way back to alpha.* And yet these people probably complained about that update, too. First time I played minecraft this song played, its been years and I still remember the time I wanted to play the game. I was obsessed and couldn't stop talking about it, I continued talking about it after getting the game. How I would give up everything just to go back to when things were simpler, when I first played minecraft and didnt have much a care in the world except for who were my family and the fun times I was able to have.

I first played Minecraft when I went to the US for a tech summer camp. My friend let me play on my account, and we spent our free time making emerald houses or beacons. I recall this is the first minecraft track I ever heard. After this 3 week summer camp, we kept in touch through email, and we returned to the camp every summer. Our classes would be different sometimes, but we still made a point to play Minecraft together. He passed away 3 years later, when he was only 11. Thank you for the memories Will, you'll be missed.

this reminds me of a sleepover I had when I was younger on my birthday with all my best friends. staying up until I could barely stay awake on a Saturday night, determined to create the perfect world, drinking 8 cans of coke zero while all my friends slept. finally, after hours and hours of hard work, my masterpiece is complete. I glance over at the clock. I should probably go to sleep, I think to myself. I open the menu and select "save and exit". I watch as the bar reaches the other side then turn off my Xbox 360. I stare at the blank screen for a few seconds thinking about tomorrow. I glance around at my resting friends. I lay my head on my pillow, pull the blanket over me and join my friends in a drifting unconsciousness, dreaming of the future.

My Favorite Track. After being lost in this society of what we call Modern Minecraft, I decided to listen to the default music while exploring a world, this came on... my heart wrenched, being reminded of the days long gone. lost to time... and corruption. Minecraft will never be the same again.

its 2021 now... i forgot about minecraft tbh, but then, like 1hr ago my sister was on her phone, when i suddenly hear a calming sound that was familiar, i ask her, “where did you find that song?”, she says to me, “oh, im playing minecraft”, then alot of memories came when she told me that. After 6 years of not hearing these songs its just nostalgic..., and its sad that no one knows what happend to C418.... these music brings alot of memories...

I got into Minecraft not too long ago, I don't have any childhood memories or something, but I still feel a sense of nostalgia when listening to the soundtrack. This one started playing as I was building a house on top of a mountain in my very first world, and I experienced in-game snowing for the first time. It was magical, I'll never forget that moment
