this was posted a year ago but still SUPER helpful. Was stuck on a flower with a cloner of 80 moving pedals cloned to a tree and exporting it as alembic to import to UE5. This allowed me to do so without having to wait hours for baking. Thank you!!!

Thanks for that tip, but its a workaround for a problem that shouldn't exist. Wouldn't you agree? We shouldn't have to bake into a giant alembic file just to get smooth viewport performance when using cloners. This is something Maxon needs to work on but I think they're more than satisfied with C4d's performance and just want to deliver fun little toys on every update without addressing core problems like the software's ability to be brought to its knees in three moves.

Can you give me a hint, please? How to bake a new Rigid body simulation into alembic? I bake it, but for some reason the animation doesn't work. I have about 20 thousand objects in cloner. The generator - Connect doesn't pull them.
