I think people misunderstood the concept of a flagship killer targeted at gamers thing. SD8Elite is already 20% more expensive than 8G3 and IQOO had to cut some corners to keep the price similar to tye last year's 12. Besides, I feel as a gamer, if they give one camera without nonsensical gimmicks, is enough for a gamer. As long as camera is good and works well to preserve a faithful recreation of your moments without breaking your wallet, you should be happy with the offering.

The problem with running uncapped benchmarks like 3DM or Antutu is that it allows the SoC to ramp up as high as possible to the point that the phone itself is sometimes unable to handle it. The 8 Elite is at a point where Gaming phones with particular priority on performance and thermals will now stretch their legs and differentiate themselves with regular phones (just like thin laptop vs thicker bigger laptop). However in performance capped scenarios like games, the 8 Elite is able to match the 8G3 performance at significantly lesser power draw. The ceiling is high and hot, but the low to mid end performance is very efficient.

But they are realising they need more ram for ai applications and those 3A titles to run without crashing. Same with display, 120 Hz is noticeably smoother. Although 2K resolution is welcome too as long as it continues getting more efficient and less prone to burn in as it will allow better pixel shifting.

Compromising on the camera department for a more aggressively priced performance centric phone is definitely a win in my books, besides the camera samples aren't even bad, its good enough to work around, looks like another pretty promising launch from iqoo PLUS for the next video PLEASE do a Review of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro because there isn't ANY that focuses on benchmarking the device itself even though it won't come to india and we will only get the Pad 7, i am pretty sure i'll get to see a review of that from you very soon too :D!

I would rate this 9.6/10 and that's if it really launches in India for less than 50k, even 55k would be fine (cause we can use bank offers and if this gets in local stores then we can bargain and get the price down to 50k or under anyways) Also I personally didn't really find the camera to be that bad, although I hoped for a more in depth review of the camera but your overall review was nice too. The selife camera also being able to shoot at 4k60 (although not the best 4k quality but still) is a plus point. Overall a very very great phone, I mean getting the world's fastest phone at around 50k by the end of this year itself is just freaking crazy to me!!

I had forgotten, when I got this phone, that Vivo/iQOO keeps any 5G compatibility behind a paywall, so-to-speak & if it weren't for that, I'd say it's a better phone than the Realme GT7 Pro, but with the GT7 Pro, as I've also previous experience with unofficially in the U.S., like I have with Vivo/iQOO exactly 2 years ago, I know 5G will work without any hitches.
