No, it's actually just below my waistline in my pelvis area.

That's odd, consider consulting a new doctor about any concerns. We send you all the best and thanks for watching.

Where do you get the gauze? What is it called and what size so I know what to order
@LiveToRoll3 жыл бұрын
I get it brought to me by my home health agency that changes my catheter every 3 weeks. I'm not exactly sure where to buy the same brand online. They are 4×4 precut gauze pads. I would suggest finding them individually wrapped because they are usually higher quality then when you buy a big brick of gauze pads. Those tend to be a lower quality. I freeze the gauze package on the screen in the video if you want to get a picture of it. Or email me at shawn@livetoroll.org and I can send you pictures of the package.

I have had a suprapubic catheter for 14 months now and still have to burn the pimple with silver nitrate almost every week as it is still growing back. Is this normal? Could we see a close up of your opening in the morning or in the evening BEFORE cleaning because on my side, there are always secretions and I wonder if this is normal. Is this normal, doctor? Hihi! I trust your expertise more than my doctor! Thank you for everything you teach, it's important!

Hey sorry for the late reply. I've talked to a lot of people that have similar pimple like things around the catheter so I don't think it's too abnormal but I don't have anything around mine. I will post some close up pictures of my catheter on my website for you and others to see. I'll have them up in a few days and post a link for you. Hope you're doing well and let me know if you have any other questions.. Thanks for the support!
