I’m gonna try this this month, I have the actual part to fix the broken pin. I got it off Amazon, but the thought of having to take my dash out and go through all that and then put it back on compare this is a no brainer and if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. It didn’t work before so, I had it for about a year and then it dropped so thank you !

Nice!!! Nothing else, it should stay up on its own for the most part. I’ve only had it fall once after an insanely big bump lol and I just simply had to put it back in place!

@@C5Zach Ended up pulling the whole dash out and rebuilding my Hud Display. It wasn’t that hard in reality. Your video still helped me figure out what was broken in the Hud Display.

@C5Zach was able to get my plexiglass off in one piece. Mirror is stuck down, and I tried adjusting it up and down while pressing the up and down button, no good. So I guess I'll have to find that spring. Thanks for this video.

My plastic hinge pin broke. So off came the dash. Replaced with small screw.

I have a hypothesis. Only clapped out c5’s have broke heads up displays… from the free wheel hop Chevy gave us. lol.

🤣🤣 Mine was a one owner (old new balance wearing man 🤣) & it was broken when I got it. Now I’ve clapped it out over the last 7 years, but it has held up since the original fix in 2017!
