Thank you so much. That means a lot to me. We are struggling to grow into something special.

Just pulled the engine out of my ‘85 944 NA today. Your 944 content has always been useful, but I enjoy and learn from all of your content, but I do miss the 944 content

Me too, it was so unfortunate that it ended that way. I hope to grow and do more.

Great job one thing to note is DONT use impact on the 4 nuts that hold cradle period! Has something to do with the way the studs are in frame from factory The rear as well

Oh wow, ok. Thanks for the tip. I should have read the manual a bit closer. I appreciate the input.

I never understood why someone would want an automatic transmission in a front engine and rear drive axle sports car. With an automatic transmission in this setup, you cannot manage inertial load shifts from the rear axle to the front when cornering. With a manual transmission,, you can keep the inertial load on the rear driving axle while shifting to a lower gear to slow down when entering a corner, with the engine over-revving so that the power is still available when you downshift into a higher gear as you accelerate out of the corner. With an automatic transmission, when you take your foot off the gas to slow down, the inertial load shifts to the front axle, which means you unload your driving axle into the turn, causing you to loose traction into the corner until you accelerate out of the corner. With an automatic transmission, you cannot corner as fast as you can with a manual transmission, which aside from going fast in a straight line, is what makes driving a sports car so much fun.

I agree, this car is equipped with a manual transmission. Automatic transmissions these days, especially the European cars have electronic controls to prevent shifting in corners, amongst many other controls. They have acceleration sensors, yaw sensors, and using the abs wheel speed sensors, it csn determine the slightest bit of slip and cornering.

Also considering it came LS swapped from the factory - seems like a no brainer

If what you just said is true then why do professional race car drivers go slower in manual cars versus these newer automatic transmissions?
